You make such lovely paintings! You always add and subtract details tastefully and your vivid use of color is inspiring! Absolute sweets to the eyes!🤩😊
I can't choose a favorite, but I loved your dagger illustration because as you were building the grass layers the dagger sank into it as if it was truly forgotten :') and the horse was so impressive! I think they are one of the hardest animals to paint, and you did so well! AND THE PUMPKIN CAT OMG SO CUUUUTEEEE!!! it's always such a pleasure to see your working process ^^ btw I'm following Mosstober too but for digital drawings and it's truly incredible how much you can improve in a matter of weeks!
Thank you so much ethereal!! You're the sweetest!! 💖 I completely agree about improving quickly during the challenge, it's such a fun way to create a daily art-making habit! :-)
I love this video and all of your work!! October is the perfect month for a challenge before the holidays really kick in and it gets too busy. Thanks for the inspo. Also, it would be interesting to hear more about being a study artist. ❤😊
Ahhh, your style is always very stunning as the narration is always so informative and inspiring to learn more. These subjects are just the right mood. Love it.
I really love watching your videos! They are all so lovely and fun as well as informative. Love these tips and tricks you added at the bottom throughout the video. Learn so much on how you block in your colors and you seem to trust the process although all your paintings have quite a long "ugly phase" if I may say so🙈. Really inspiring to just go with the flow and push through. All your paintings turn out so great! Wow! Keep doing what you are doing🤗
Thank you so much Kim! 😄 I think about painting as almost a puzzle with layers. Some colors need to be underneath to make the colors on top feel alive. The bottom layers are always ugly, but I think of them as supporting what is to come. This painting method really requires a "trust the process" mindset though! 😂 I think this would be a great topic for a video! Thanks agin for your lovely comment! 💖
All your art works are amazing! I love the cat and pumpkin too, the cat is so adorable 🥹🫶💖 a random question but have you ever done a video on how you just know the right under tones or (is it hues lol) to use? I’m too stupid to know to add blues or any other colours to the side of someone’s face or something depending on the lighting or colours haha 😆🫶💖
Thank you so much! 💖 I haven't made a video quite like that, but I do talk about my color choices a bit in my How to Paint a Portrait in Gouache video and my Colored Pencil Portrait Tutorial video! Mostly, it just takes practice to be able to see those subtle hue shifts for realistic/naturalistic paintings. A more fun, but equally true answer is that you can also use just about any colour/ hue as long as your values are correct! 😄
I am amazed by your style and your drawing is my absolute inspiration, I even have the picture of your drawing in my sketchbook!!! Thank you s much for what you are doing, by the way I really want to draw your portrait 🥰
You, tugce dumlupinar, hamrib art art the reasons why i wanted to work on my goauche technique. I hve the motivation but too scared to mess it up cuz im a newbie in this medium 😂
I completely agree with @loati94 ! Making bad art is part of the learning process. You can't become a pro at a medium without first being a newbie 😄 As hard as it can be, try to enjoy the process, including the failures! 💗 I believe in ya!!
I think the blade is my favorite because all the little details are just BEAUTIFUL. This is stellar. I don't have the time/energy for a daily challenge right now because I've been recovering from the loss of a 15 y/o pet, but I always save these prompt lists and print them out to keep in a sketchbook for when I don't know what to draw :)
WOW! at first I couldn't see how you would get the grass end result but HOLY SMACK when you got to 5;00 i was so impressed! I love the way you approached it!
Thank you so much!! 💛 I painted the grass in multiple layers. I definitely had to trust the process, because the bottom layers always look pretty rough haha 😅
oh man i can't say which one is my favorite i love all of them but if i have to choose then the bunnies 🐰🐰 the colors and the blocky look , i don't know how to describe it but absolutely gorgeous , so incredibly beautiful my god , you got to be one of my inspirational artist for sure 💕💕
Watching you paint is always so inspiring. 🥰 We have similar(-ish) styles and I always get something to take away for my own paintings, be it techniques or ideas. Like the thing about the black cat painting -- I really love harsh backlighting but hadn't thought about trying something with shadows before. Now I kinda have to at some point. 🤓 Idk what was my favourite, they are all great, but I enjoyed the process of the dagger the most. At the start I was sure that it's not going to come together and then boom, a frame worthy piece of game art. Had to watch twice! Also, the Meeden brush at 7:00. I *need* that in my life. 😱😍😘
im glad you mentioned something about being a "study artist" I feel like all my works are just studies too and I struggle to come up with my own ideas. Would love to hear more about your thoughts on it soon
I've been leaning to "study artist" lately too because part I don't always have the energy for ideas, and part because I feel like I've plateau'd in my skill level a bit and need to do some work to improve. Studies are such a good way to do that.
I try to stick 31 days and I post daily on Insta, is not easy at all🙈 but it s good soon will be the last prompt of day 31, also can t wait for this video
I feel what you're saying about being a reference artist. Trying to draw original stuff when you're used to finding and basing things on something else is hard. It's even harder when you can't "see" exactly what you want the end result to be.
Most artists use photoshop and a combination of different references to create original art! Specially if we are talking about a realistic style. The only artists I've seen drawing original stuff from imagination are artists that work in animation style like cartoons and stuff. And we can't even be sure that they really don't use references because it's all behind the scenes.
You make such lovely paintings! You always add and subtract details tastefully and your vivid use of color is inspiring! Absolute sweets to the eyes!🤩😊

Thank you so much! It is so great to hear that you find the narration helpful and inspiring! 😄

The horse. It looks so free and fluid. ❤wo derfuk to watch you construct this.
Thank you Liza! That one felt like a fun puzzle to construct 😄 It really made me want to paint more horses!
Those brushstrokes are amazing.

Go for it! Messing up is part of the process. Creating bad art can be discouraging, trust me I know, but there's no good art without bad art!
I completely agree with @loati94 ! Making bad art is part of the learning process. You can't become a pro at a medium without first being a newbie 😄 As hard as it can be, try to enjoy the process, including the failures! 💗 I believe in ya!!
